Our brilliant Voice Reader voice output is now also available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch! Simply copy texts from emails, websites, documents, notes or other applications and have them conveniently read out to you anywhere and at any time with Voice Reader. You can even open PDFs and text files (Unicode) from other applications, synchronize PDFs and text files via iTunes or enter your own content using the keyboard and have it turned into audio. Thanks to its variety of settings, the Voice Reader app adjusts to your individual requirements with its range of 20 female and 12 male voices. Both the read-out texts and the generated audio files can be saved or sent by email. Utilize the variety of sensible, entertaining and amusing areas of applications and reading ideas.

It should come as no surprise: recordings of trained speakers provided the basis for the Voice Reader voice output. And you can hear that!

The Voice Reader text editor supports
- MANUAL ENTRIES using the ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD
- COPYING AND PASTING of text from other applications
- OPENING OF TEXT FILES (.txt in Unicode format) as well as PDF FILES, which you can conveniently synchronize through iTunes. To do so, connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer and simply drag the desired PDF or text files (format: txt – Unicode) into iTunes (on your mobile device under Apps – Voice Reader) and start the synchronization process.
- OPEN PDF and TEXT FILES (.txt in Unicode Format) easily and directly from other apps via the “Open in…“menu. This is valid for all apps that support iDocument Interaction for PDF or text files, for example, GoodReader, ReaddleDocs, DropBox, Mail (E-Mails with text file attachments)
When using online voices, you can have up to 2,000 characters read out to you per file. There is no character restriction when using offline voices.
Sophisticated:
Of course, you can have the whole text read out to you. If you would like to have only a part of the text read out to you, you can either have a selection read out or have the reading start from a cursor position of your choice.
Sustainable:
When a text is read out, an audio file is generated, which is saved together with the text and can be accessed at any time later on.
Advanced:
Advanced export function: You can send the created text and audio files by email. This feature is available on the iPhone and iPad, providing you have set up an email account there.

Straightforward management of the saved audio and text files.
Adaptable:
Voices and editor can be extensively adapted: in the editor, for example, the font size can be adjusted to 5 different sizes, from small to extra-large. The audio files created with Voice Reader can be saved in the following formats, depending on your requirements and the intended further use of the files: .m4a (AAC= Advanced Audio Coding), .caf (Apple Lossless Coding) or .wav (Linear PCM Coding). Select the desired quality for the saved files that meets your requirements: you can choose from 8, 16 or 22 Khz. An answerphone greeting typically requires 8 Khz. If there is enough memory available, you can choose 22 Khz. Speed, pitch and volume can be adjusted using a slide control and reset at the press of a button.

The whole text input window can be cleared conveniently at the press of a button.
